Home & Hearts Caring Agency is owned and operated by Agnes Mouers and Christina Solomon, business partners who share a passion for providing compassionate, dignified and reliable care.
Together, we bring over 12 years of combined caregiving experience, supporting elderly clients, families and individuals with companionship, personal care, meal preparation, mobility assistance and palliative and end-of-life support.
Our experience includes working closely with healthcare professionals, including Dr David Cameron and Sr Stephanie Wood, who has worked with St Luke's Hospice.
We also hold relevant caregiving and First Aid qualifications, as well as an Assistant Chef International Standards Certificate, giving us valuable knowledge and experience in preparing meals while considering individual dietary needs.
At Home & Hearts, we believe every person deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, patience and respect. Our goal is to provide dependable care that gives families comfort and peace of mind.
Christina Solomon
Owner & Business Partner
Christina partners with Agnes in running the agency, with a focus on client relationships, caregiver placement and keeping communication clear for families and organisations. Together they review every caregiver application before a placement is confirmed.
Qualifications and certificates
Relevant qualifications held by the owners. Copies can be provided on request.
International Elderly Care Certificate
Formal training in the care of older adults, covering daily living support, safety and dignity.
First Aid Certificate
Trained to respond appropriately and calmly to first-aid situations in the home.
Assistant Chef — International Standards Certificate
Directly relevant to meal preparation: meals can be prepared with a client's dietary requirements in mind, following any dietary instructions given by the family or the relevant healthcare professionals.
Professional references: professional references — including those relating to work alongside Dr David Cameron and Sr Stephanie Wood — are available on request, with the permission of the referees concerned.
Our story
Home and Hearts began with a simple observation: families searching for care are often overwhelmed, and caregivers looking for meaningful work are often overlooked. Agnes Mouers and Christina Solomon set out to build an agency that treats both sides with the same care and respect.
We are a new business, and we are honest about that. What we bring is a clear process, a careful review of every caregiver who applies, and personal involvement in every placement we arrange.

To provide dependable, compassionate caregiving and companion-care support that helps people live comfortably and safely in the place they call home — and to create dignified work for skilled caregivers in Cape Town.
